I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics at Newcastle University Business School .

I am an applied economist working at the intersection of political economy, public economics, and economic geography.

My research examines policy-relevant issues related to gender inequality, local governance, and public service provision, combining rich administrative data with causal inference methods.

Previously, I was a Fellow in Economic Geography at the London School of Economics (LSE) . I earned my PhD in Economics from Ca' Foscari University of Venice in 2024. During my doctoral studies, I was a visiting researcher at the Cañada Blanch Centre at LSE in Winter 2023 and at the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI) in Winter 2022.
